I got to run some of Dwimmermount, and would love to do so again. I can't say where your touch ended, and the finishing polish began. It isn't something I think about. It ended up in my hands, and I was happy with the result, even if you were not entirely satisfied. I hope you can be proud of what came into being, even if you someday revisit it to complete your unique vision of it.

The old Dwimmermount posts remain among my favorite bits of your writing. The final product has always been a bit much for me to digest in pdf. I would really love an ongoing series of designer notes on rooms and levels. Perhaps as part of the room rewrites you’ve been dabbling with.

If you will forgive me for the presumption, I suspect one of the major reasons you had a lot of trouble writing up Dwimmermount is that you started too early. At the time it was still an active campaign and a lot of the details was being shaped by the interaction between you and the players in that campaign (or at least it seems that way from the blog posts). Whilst you already knew what had to be down there, when you got to the parts the players hadn't interacted with previously, the writing of it would have become a lot different. Or at least the joy of sharing what the players had discovered wasn't there to help you along.

This is a very astute point and not at all presumptuous. Thank you.
